Big fan of Mickey's Crab house that we went here twice. This was our first time staying in Bethany Beach and we looked up reviews for AYCE Crabs. The crabs here were delicious. They were fatty, well seasoned and I wish I could have them right now. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They were also very accommodating on where we asked to sit with my baby in her carseat. Would recommend leaving strollers in the car. The waitstaff were all very kind. I would highly recommend getting the AYCE crabs if you are debating it. The service is great and quick. It has the feel of where the locals go. Definitely will be back!
Everytime I come to Bethany Beach I always make sure to come by this place!!!! I randomly fell upon it one trip and was SO tired I just went in to the first place I saw, and da!n was I lucky! Other servers are so nice and down to earth! The food is unbelievable and really reasonable for what you get, and it just has a great environment whether you're doing a family dinner, casual date or social gathering. So far my favorite food in Bethany!
We had a table of 8 for the all-you-can-eat crab deal. What a great way to spend the afternoon! Service was great and the crabs were, too! Perfect Delaware shore dinner. Highly recommend!
The best AYCE crab dinner!! I found the price to be very reasonable for what was included. The crabs were full and delicious. Our server was very sweet. AYCE included hush puppies, fried chicken, and corn as well! We sat outside and even got to enjoy live music. Overall a perfect spot to indulge in as many crabs as you'd like. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Delaware!
My week of work being done I decided to stay a few extra days and a few of my friends did as well. They all wanted to come here to dine as it was an all you can eat shrimp or crab legs. I was having none of that as with my past and shellfish, I wasn't taking those chances or maybe it was because I had never developed a taste for the either. This place, when you come here, is all kinds of the stereotype you would think of when you think crab shack. It gives off shanty feels, strumming with noise, and flies buzzing about. Indoor and outdoor seating is available depending on your mood. It just has this vibe that is so relaxing even with all the business going on. Our server was attentive and hilarious. Appreciate a little entertainment when it comes to watching a server josh it up with a local. It came time to place our orders, a lot of people at the table wanted the all you can eat selections, but of course I didn't. I opted for their Fish and Chips. Their version was quite unique and definitely the first time I have ever had it this way. The menu description says you get two pieces, however I got three, and they are buttermilk battered. I've had my fair share of items buttermilk battered, but never fish. It was definitely an experience, flaky, but not over battered. It felt like it was thin, but still have that bit of crispiness. This also came with fries, slaw, lemon and tartar sauce. The fresh squeeze of lemon was a nice addition to the filets, and the tartar sauce was just the right mix needed when paired with the fish. The fries were definitely fresh cut, a nice take compared to the food that I had eaten all week. The slaw was a nice cool bite on the plate. As my friends were devouring their all you can eat items I had finished this dish. I was till craving more though. I wanted something sweet. It was a special, so not always on the menu. What was offered on my visit was a Peanut Butter Pretzel Brownie. I know, it sounds busy, but it worked. It is serve a la mode and then drizzled with caramel. The brownie was warm and needed that scoop of ice cream paired with it. It was sweet, but not too sweet. A great way to end a meal.
